• Preparation and filing of income tax returns.

Sales tax

Central Excise Duty

The services include:

• Preparation and updating the record required to be maintained.
• Preparation of application for and obtention of the license for excisable goods and services under the Central Excise Act, 1944 and timely renewals thereof.
• Processing the cases for obtaining exemptions from Central Excise Duty and submitting the same to the Federal Government through the Central Board of Revenue.
• Ensuring proper handling of C.E item and H.S Code numbers in order to legally minimize the incidence of Excise Duty, including drawback of duty.
• Attending to Show-Cause notices, if any, preparing legally suitable replies thereto and including pursuing the hearing and other proceedings.
• Preparing appeals to the Collector (Appeals), Appellate Tribunals together handling with of proceedings including Revision Petitions to the Federal Government.
• Ensuring rectification of mistakes, if any, in the orders of the tax authorities.

Mr. Syed Tanzeem Husain, B.Com. F.C.A., Partner, is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, qualified as Chartered Accountant in 1982 from Ford Rhodes Robson Morrow now Earnst & Young. He also has at his credit the experience of managing M/s. Ahmed B. Khan & Co., Chartered Accountants, as an active partner for 14 years i-e. February 1982 to January 1996. He was the last retiring sole partner of the firm.

In his 32 years of experience in practice he has advised vide range of clients comprising financial institutions, manufacturing entities and Non-Governmental Organizations etc.

Mr. Asghar Imam Khalid, Senior Partner – a fellow member of the ICAP, a law graduate, and FCIS – has rich post-qualification experience in the fields of finance, audit, corporate affairs etc., especially in the public sector.

He has worked at various positions such as General Manager, Chief Internal Auditor, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Executive Director and acting Chairman of both public and private sector entities.

Mr. Khalid has participated in various seminars and workshops, held abroad, on behalf of the Government of Pakistan while serving government corporations.

Mr. Muhammad Abdul Hameed, Senior Consultant, completed his LLB and accounting qualifications, and got associated with the Institute of Corporate and Certified Accountants, London. He has been in the profession for a very long time, and held senior executive positions within multinational and leading industries in Pakistan. He is very adept at providing Financial Consultancy and advising on Management Information System (MIS) needs.

Mr. Mansoor Zia, Senior Manager and Consultant, is a Fellow Public Finance Accountant. He was associated with Ernst & Young (former Ford Rhodes Robson Morrow), Chartered Accountants for a long period of 30 years.

He has a vast experience in the areas of audit, accounting and consultancy, both within and outside Pakistan in various sectors and industries, namely, manufacturing, trading, banking, insurance, hotel and hospital. He is well-conversant with local and international reporting laws/principles, such as, local companies’ laws and International Financial Reporting Standards.

Sabika is a qualified chartered accountant, having around six years of post-qualification experience working in audit, accountancy and advisory with multinational organizations and chartered accountancy firms including the big four (kpmg Pakistan) in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and London.

She has been associated with Tanzeem & Co. Chartered Accountants since June 2013 till May 2014 as Manager Audit and Assurance and as a Consultant from May 2014 till present. She is a valuable resource of the Firm with her expertise in financial reporting, internal audit and compliance reporting, advisory services including business/ project feasibility, corporate finance and valuation, general accounting and taxation.

Mr. Rahat Aziz is a Senior Consultant, he has been in Corporate Consultancy for almost 20 years. He has been responsible for undertaking corporate consultancy assignments both industries and business houses.

Furthermore he is involved as Visiting Faculty in Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL).

Mr. Rahat Aziz is also one of the lead and oldest trainers of ICAP’S and IBA’S Director Training program on the subject of Corporate Governance which is approved by SECP.

He is also involved as Master Trainer with USAID, The Asian Foundation, for NPO and NGO program. He is also engaged as trainer with all leading institutions of Karachi including IBA-CEE, IOBM-CMEC, EFP, NIBAF-SBF, KTBA and many others.
